WHAT IS PARQUET?

Parquet is a collective term for all wooden floors that have a solid wooden top layer.
All of the wooden floors from Lamett are oak parquet floors.
These parquet floors are available in various surface textures and finishes but have all been pre-finished so they
can be directly installed at home with no extra work or cost.

SOLID

Solid parquet consists of a solid block of 100% natural wood in which a click system has been carved. Solid plank parquet is the top of the line in parquet floors

Lamett engineered parquet is composed of either a cross-structure of coniferous wood sheeting affixed to one another (multilayer parquet) or has a high density fiberboard core (3 layer parquet). The top layer veneer is always made of hard wood (e.g., oak) with a thickness of 0.6mm to 3mm.

Unique Finishes

Traditional UV

The more budget friendly, quicker drying forms a protective coat on the surface of the wood, adapted for a smoother, less natural looking surface.

UV Matte

Our UV matte process is an enhanced version of the traditional UV, developed by us to allow a finish that preserves a more natural matte structure

AD48TM

Our AD48TM process is as natural as it gets. A first layer of coating is then added and the planks are set on racks to dry naturally for 24h. Once dry, a different layer is set and air dried for another 24h, making is Air Dried for 48 hours (AD48TM). In doing so, AD48TM saturates your floor, making the best protection against wear and micro scratches while still preserving its natural look and feeling.

Easy Maintenance & Use

Because they have been pre-finished, all wood products are extremely low maintenance and can be installed with no extra finishing!

It’s important to remember that all wood base products are “hygroscopic”, meaning they expand or contract when humidity levels vary, it is very important to follow our recommendations in our installation and maintenance tips to ensure your floor lives on healthily, such as controlling humidity and temperature, and not installing in wet rooms.

All Lamett engineered flooring are compatible with underfloor heating (refer to installation tips for requirements). Solid wood is not compatible.

Patented Technologies

Our patented protective film technology is applied to all solid wood planks with a click system, providing an enhanced moisture protection and a smooth, consistent installation. It allows for the first time to have a clean, chemical free glue-less installation for solid wood flooring.
