Santos Mahogany , commonly known as "red sandalwood", means wood with a scent of balsam. It has been recorded in historical books for many years,also in the paintings of the folk aristocratic yearbooks, and has been the preference item of many scholarly families in the past dynasties. We took the texture of the wood and restored its ribbon and wavy patterns to retain its unique color, in order to continue the artistic conception of "sparse shadows, horizontal slanted clear water, dark fragrance that floating in the moon and dusk".

香脂木豆，俗名“红檀香”，意思是具有香膏味的木质，经史书记载多次在民间贵族年鉴画作中所见，为历代很多书香门第的偏爱。我们取其木心处纹理，在保留了它独到的色彩，同时还原了其带状或波状的花纹，意在延续 “疏影横斜水清浅，暗香浮动月黄昏”的意境。
